Web Architecture

Yesterday I gave a presentation on web architecture to the people of LFCS at Edinburgh.

The slides are made with S5. S5 is just a set of stylesheets and scripts for making a slideshow in HTML, with navigation. The experience of working in S5 was pretty good (it was my first time), although I don't enjoy writing HTML. I'd like to have a simple Wiki-like syntax for making S5 decks: headings, bullet lists, blockquotes and images account for just about everything I want to do in a deck so it should be possible to make such a language. If only I knew someone who could write a parser. . .
